Storyboards

Here are our first drafted story boards. These have all the shots we are planning to take to complete our practical film.
Shot 1: this take will be from our actress Stelas point of view. It will be a long, high angle shot of the tops of the trees in the woods, there wll also be ambient sounds.
Shot 2: This will be ar a more of an eye level angle and will be tracking through the woods. Our group might have to use a ladder to get the best possible outcome from this shot.
Shot 3: Most of the first cfew shots are establishing shots of the location to inform the audience. This shot is another tracking shot but low angle.
Shot 4: This shot will be another high angle, not as much of a high angle as earlier but tilted slightly upwards. This shot is of Stela and she will be surrounded by something unordinary like candles or stick. This is significant as it shows that someone has gone out of their way to put those there. It also makes the audience question why they're there as well as adding something unordinary in.
Shot 5: This is another shot of tree but this time at a worms eye view. This shot will be from Stelas point of view as if she is waking up. The shot will fade to black and reverse again so its as if her eyes are opening and adjusting.
Shot 6: This next shot will be at a high angle looking down on stella. This will be apart of the flash back shots and will present Stella as being very lonely and vunerable.
Shot 7: The flashback will continue into this shot and will change to an over the shoulder shot from behind Stella. There will be a shadow of the protagonists legs standing there.
Shot 8: The next shot will go back to Stella waking up in the woods. In these shots we don't want her face being revealed. It will be a low angle shot of Stella with her in the center of the frame. The shot will be taking from behind Stella with tree's surrounding her, this shot will be establishing to the audience to show the audience where she is. We as an audience are finding out facts at the same time as Stella is but she is in a vunerable position. The soundtrack will be toned down and we will put a heart beat sound in which will dominate the soundtrack.
Shot 9: This next shot is a close up shot from the back of Stellas head and it will slowly move from one side to the other as if she's looking around at her surroundings. She will move slowly and seem as if she is a bit stiff.
Shot 10: This will then go to a flashback again which will be of a medium long shot of the protagonist carrying Stella over the shoulder and this shot will be from behind the actors.
Shot 11: This shot will be another medium close up of the boot closing with Stella laying in the boot. We will hear the sound of the car door shutting and the prtgonist will walk around the car and get in.
Shot 12: This next shot will return back to the woods that Stella is in and will be a close up of Stellas feet. Her feet will be a bit dirty, covered in mud and maybe have a couple of cuts on it. Feet are seemed as an uncomfortable thing to look at so it will make the audience feel a bit uncomfortable. You arnt usually bare footed outside so this also adds intregiugity to the shot. The music will be quieter in these shots and be a little bit more peaceful but still strange.
Shot 13: The next shot is again a couple of establishing shots of Stella in the woods looking around. Most will be at a high angle looking down on Stella. This will make her look smaller and weaker.
Shot 14: The next shot will be at eye level. It will be close up and track to the right, there will be objects surrounding the victim. We havent decided between candles or sticks. I liked the candles idea because i think it is more striking and odd to the eye. Although this concept is hard to make look good i think it will come out really well on camera.
Shot 15: The next shot is going back tot he final flashback. This hsot will be a longshot of Stella being dragged through the woods by Noah. The flashbacks might be in black and white or we might fade the edges of the shot to male them look like flashbacks in the mind. We might add a transition to the flashback such as a fade to white or a white flash to make it apparent to the audience that it is a flashback.
Shot 16: This is also a flashback shot and will be an extreme low angle shot almost facing upwards. In this shot Npah will be dropping Stella to the floor and onto the camera so that it goes to black.
Shot 17: These last couple of shots go back to normal, it is at a birdeye view of the victim lying on the floor and she begins to sit up again.
Shot 18: This shot will be a pull focus and the camera slowly gets closer to Stella.
Shot 19: The last shot will reveal Stellas face and will be a close up of her eyes. Her eyes will be bruised and have scratches on the rest of her face. The camera will track right and Stella will look up into the camera.
