Ident
So when coming up with ideas from the ident my oringinal idea's were to have some sort of moonlight with branches ating as silouttes. My other suggestion was a hand over a wall with blood coming down from it. Whilst brainstorming we noticed there was a clap board and i suggested using that with a small hand over the top of it and editing blood splatters onto it. This idea generated more suggestions from my group and we finally came up with our final idea. We used lighting eqipment from media, the clap board, a pice of acetate that i used from the art department, fake blood, emilie's hand, a tri-pod and a Canon camera from the media department. I wanted a spotlight on the clapper board however thre was nowhere in the media department where we could restrict the light so we went to the art department and filmed the ident in the darkroom. This allowed us the have the light focued in one area and get the black background that we wanted. I filmed the ident, Zack was in charge of the lighting, Ethan decorated the clapper board and we used emilie's hand in the filming, Ethan also dropped the top of the board whilst filming.
Soundtrack
The soundtrack was one of the last things we looked at and it took us the longest to decide what we wanted to use. We all had brief idea's of what we wanted but i wanted a calm soundtrack at the begining which slowly built up to a sharp sound at the end of our product. Ethan was in charge of arranging the soundtrack and he found lots of similar sounding teacks which were not copyrighted. I have inserted the soundtrack we used however we only used snippets of it in the product as we thoguht it didn fit our film exactly how we would have liekd it too, so instead we used parts that we thought worked well.
