Questionnaire

Our target audience ranges between adolscents and adults therefore we got poeple in this age range to answer our questionnaire. When analysing my questionnaire i found the answers for all the questions were mostly varied except for a few. In this question, everyone had put diferent answers however, half of the people who answered the question choose Soundtrack. This is an important aspect of the film as it can create moods and themes for the opening sequence. The next most popular answer was camera shots. As 25% of our audience thought that camera shots adds tension our group must make sure that we use effective camera shots and techniques.

In this question, all the answers were really close. When deciding what thriller to do and our narrative we were going to make our thriler more mystery based. Looking at our results a mystery thriller was still one of the most popular results but our group our considering making the film more psychological based. Our group thought that it would be harder to pull off an action thriller and would have so many expectations of it and because we are slightly limited with budget and cast. As a group we discussed the different sub genres we could try and fit into and we all thought that a supernatural thriller would be a difficult concept to film so we thought that we would pull off a mystery thriller the best.

In this question had a really obvious answer that most people though that the opening sequence should be filmed in the early evening. My group aggreed with this as it created a more realistic situation. So this was definately decided that we would film in the early evening hours however, we ned to be careful about when it gets dark and time it right when we film otherwise it could be too dark. We did think about filming in the morning but we were not sure about whetehr the lighting would be dark enough. A woods is quite a restricted area for light anyways but we want it too look perfect.

When anaylysing this question we saw that three out of the four answers had a similar amount of popularity. The most popular answer being Mansion/big house then, abandoned building, then woods then a park. As a group we wanted our narrative to be based around a woods but we also wanted another location involved into our film. We thought that the chances of us being able to use a mansion house was quite low and we have been looking for abandoned buildings we could use but we are definately going to use the woods as a location. We thought that the woods by my house would be a goo location to film in because there is a lot of different sace we could use and not a lot of people use that woods so we wouldnt have many interuptions.
