Se7en is a thriller that was released in 1995 and is reviewed as 'A dark, gripping thriller which saves it's most shocking revelations for the final scenes'. It includes actors such as Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt.

S7ens title speence i includes alot of disturbing images such as images of unhappy people, blades and nails scratching. These are high angle or extreme close ups showing the sharpness of the dangerous tool the razor blde. These shots immediately tell the audinece that the film is scary and unsettling.

The editing throughout the title sequence changes such as the editing pace increases. This works really well to buld susence and tension int he audience. Along side with the muffled sounds in the soundtrack it really gets the audience to feel nervous.

It is kept away from reality by having no abient sounds but having a heartbeat noise. This has a rthyme and builds up really well. The cross over fades confuse the auidnece a but and again makes them feel unsettled and shows them that various things are going on.

They include common convetions of a thriller by incluing dull colours in the mise-en-scene and every shot contains somehting that is sharp or dangerous. They also include a spooky/creepy font in the titles.
